I started working full-time in 2005 and was certified in 2007. Since then, I’ve worked in a diverse array of settings ranging from the usual—doctor’s appointments with patients, K-12 with students and Deaf faculty and administrators, and community colleges and universities—to the less common: medical school with a DDS in first year residency, biomedical research and development with an engineer, tech with software engineers and UX designers. In addition, I’ve worked a number of conferences across the country and done platform work for high-profile speakers from both the Deaf and hearing communities.

In all the work I’ve done, I’ve enjoyed voicing the most. Crafting a relatable voice signed communication enhances the authenticity of the interaction and the connection between everyone involved.

The only work I don’t do is performance and religious interpreting. a special skill set I don’t have.

In 2022, I graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA in Economics.
